Description
The history attached to this Trinity Knot ring dates back to the 8th century. The legendary book of Kells, believed to be from the early 9th century, bears the Trinity knot symbol amongst its decorative artwork. From the book we can see that the ancient symbol has had religious meaning and symbolism for many tribes and clans over the course of history. The Book of Kells is on view today in Trinity College, Dublin.
