Description
The design of these trinity knot earrings is inspired from drawings that decorate our priceless manuscripts. Our most treasured artefact is the Book of Kells. The Celtic illustrations found in the Book are a huge inspiration to us.
The marble gleams off the silver as only Connemara marble can. As well as the beautiful symmetry of the design of the Trinity Knot itself, many people turn to it because it may have an emotional, symbolic meaning to them. The three interlocking shapes of the Trinity Knot are widely regarded as a symbol of eternal love. An unending knot that cannot be untied. This is a beautiful symbol of eternity, unity , love and commitment not just here in Ireland but all over the world.
This Connemara marble, one of the world’s oldest minerals and rarest marble in the world, was mined from our quarry in Lissoughter, Recess Co. Galway. No two pieces are identical, making each piece totally unique to you.
The earrings have a lever back suitable for pierced ears only. With a weight of 9.4 grams each earring has a drop length of 3.5cm with a width of 2cm.
