This pendant and earring set are made from highly polished Connemara Marble set into a sterling silver casing. The front is hand cut into shapes depicting the famous Fairy Trees of Ireland where the Connemara marble peaks through the branches, while the back is completely open to reveal the full piece of marble.
These magical trees found along the highways and byways of Ireland are old hawthorn, oak or ash trees. Many of which can be hundreds of years old. It is said that the fairies live in these trees! They are a meeting point for the “wee folk” – the leprechauns and fairies who live nearby. A fairy tree will bring good luck and great care must be taken not to damage or destroy one of these magical trees.

This Tree of Life Connemara Marble set comes with a story card explaining the story of the Fairy Tree. Our sterling silver is hallmarked in the Dublin Assay Office which is located in Dublin Castle.
Presented on an 18″ sterling silver chain.
The pendant measures 1.5cm x 1cm and has a weight of 2.1 grams.
The earrings are presented on a shepherd’s hook and the full drop measures 2.5cm with a width of .7cm and a weight of 1.6 grams.
