We have been handcrafting Rosary Beads here in Rathfarnham since 1945. Four generations of my family have crafted these rosaries with care and pride.
Each rosary holds a very special meaning both to us and the receiver. These “Our Lady” beads continue that tradition, our natural gemstone Connemara Marble is carefully hand carved in our family workshop here in Ireland. A traditional antique tone Celtic cross and the image of Our Lady grace the center of this timeless rosary. Can you see the ornate capping on our lapis pater beads?

The green hills of Ireland are called to mind when you hold these Genuine Connemara Marble Rosary beads. Handcrafted in Ireland, the unique marble beads showcase Connemara Marble’s various shades of green. Connemara means “of the sea” and comes from the Connemara Mountains in the most western parts of Ireland in County Galway. The antique tone crucifix completes the rosary.
Few things reflect the beauty of creation more strongly than the deep and varied greens of Connemara Marble. So rare it is found only in one corner of Ireland’s Atlantic seaboard. The first Irish Rosaries were made by monks of the great settlements like Cashel, Clonmacnoise and Glendalough. Using the horns of animals, they fashioned beads of natural beauty and simple strength. Their strength in particular put them much in demand in medieval Europe, where the rosary was a widely observed meditation, and a personal link with the Creator.
These beads continue that tradition, combining natural beauty with practical strength. Carry them with you and tranquility will never be far away.
