This Connemara marble, one of the world’s oldest minerals and rarest marble in the world, was hand lifted from our quarry in Lissoughter, Recess Co. Galway. No two pieces are identical, making each piece totally unique to you. Our family have crafted with this precious stone since 1947 and just last year in 2022 Connemara Marble was given world wide recognition when it was officially designated one of just 32 Heritage stones.
Prized because of the many shades of green it has been used for centuries as a medium of exchange. Known since the stone age its swirling patterns perfectly represent the Irish landscapes which is the only place this gemstone is found. More rare than gold – more precious than jade this really is a true piece of Ireland coming into your home this Christmas.
