The bracelet is simple in design with a double row of green, natural marble beads with a stretch style. At the center we have a plaque of our gemstone which depicts the ancient art found within the folio pages of the Book of Kells.
The Book of Kells is regarded as Ireland’s National treasure. The book itself, a copy of the four Gospels, was created around 800 AD and is hand illuminated with what is regarded as the finest example of Celtic art in the world. Today the book can be seen in the library of Trinity College in Dublin and is considered a national treasure.
The beauty of the ancient manuscript was the inspiration behind this bracelet and with such a wonderful story to tell makes a very collectible piece of Celtic Jewelry.
