A cameo style, sophisticated Connemara Marble Mothers Love Pendant. One side features a polished oval of rich, green Connemara Marble in a cameo style frame which gives an antique feel. The other side displays a beautifully engraved image of Our Lady.
Connemara is a region of Co Galway. The word comes from the Gaelic meaning “Inlets for the Sea”. Oscar Wilde best described it best when he spoke of the region possessing a “savage beauty”.
The natural green colour and rich texture of Connemara marble reminds natives and visitors of the pastoral scenes visible in the Irish countryside.
All patterns are different in each stone and so, no two pieces will be the same – each piece entirely unique to you.
Presented on an 18″ sterling silver chain. Our sterling silver is hallmarked at the Dublin Assay Office located at Dublin Castle.
