A cameo style, sophisticated Mothers Love, Connemara Marble Irish pendant. One side features a polished oval of rich, green Connemara Marble in a cameo style frame which gives an antique feel. The other side displays a beautifully engraved image of Our Lady.
Connemara is a region of Co Galway. The word comes from the Gaelic meaning “Inlets for the Sea”. Oscar Wilde best described it best when he spoke of the region posessing a “savage beauty”.
The natural green colour and rich texture of Connemara marble reminds natives and visitors of the pastoral scenes visible in the Irish countryside.
