This pendant is handcrafted using Irish Sterling Silver and green Connemara Marble inlaid to bring out the Trinity Knot design. It is very much a modern piece based on an ancient Irish symbol.
A simple but impressive design – one strand of sterling silver weaves in and out of itself with no beginning, no middle and no end. The ancient Trinity design can be seen in the Book of Kells which dates back to the 9th century. You can see this infamous book on display at Trinity College in Dublin.
The marble comes from our own quarry in Lissoughter Co Galway and is over 900 million years old. You can only find our marble in the West of Ireland. Irish sterling silver is hallmarked at Dublin Castle in Ireland which gives the earrings an extra connection to Ireland.

Only here in County Galway which is in the west of Ireland. This stone has been an inspiration for jewelry makers around the world for centuries. This is because each piece is completely unique – no two pieces will ever be the same.
The pendant measures 25 mm from bottom to the top of the bail and 18mm from side to side and has a weight of 2.7 grams.
Presented on an 18″ inch chain. Irish Sterling Silver receives it’s hallmark at the Irish Assay office which is located at Dublin Castle.Â
