Inspired by ancient Celtic artistry and the rugged beauty of Ireland’s west coast, the idea was born after a trip Stephen made to our quarry in Lissoughter Co. Galway. Having taken the scenic route home Stephen stopped at Galway Bay. It was at the turn of the day and he felt so inspired by the waves lapping against the shore that he sketched this design.
As an island Ireland has a deep rooted connection with the sea and coupled with Mother Nature’s gemstone this piece really speaks to that.
