At its heart lies an inlay of claw set genuine Connemara marble, known as Ireland’s “gemstone” and prized for its rich, natural green hues. The elegant Trinity knot detail symbolizes eternity and unity, beautifully integrated into the cross design.
We styled this pendant on the collection of prehistoric gold artefacts found in the National Museum of Ireland dating between 2200BC and 500 BC. During the early bronze age gold products included sun discs and the cresentic gold collars hence our inspiration for this design.

This pendant pays homage to that most treasured of ancient Irish monuments, examples of which still survive to this day. The earliest surviving Celtic crosses date from the 7th century and the finest examples date from the 9th and 10th Centuries.
These magnificent crosses are carved from stone with elaborate Celtic knot work. You can still see and touch these original crosses around Ireland – real living history. Often you will see the trinity design around the cross hence the inspiration for our piece.
