Celtic Knot Silver Connemara Marble Pendant

Special Event Piece – 2 only available.

Celtic knot work is at the heart of many of Ireland’s carved artwork and jewelry design.

Here we have taken genuine Connemara Marble 900 million years in the making and with elaborate silver work crafted the Celtic knot. Make no mistake that this is a statement piece of Celtic jewelry with a large amount of our natural gemstone and Irish silver.

Spirals, step patterns and key patterns are dominant motifs in Celtic art before the Christian influence on the Celts, which began around 450. These designs found their way into early Christian manuscripts and artwork with the addition of depictions from life, such as animals, plants and even humans.

In the beginning, the patterns were intricate interwoven cords, and as time went on the designs became more complex and ornamental.

According to legend there are other meanings for Celtic knot work. One tells of the tangle of knots that symbolize life’s journey and the curved road we must take. Another legend tells that it symbolizes family.

This Celtic Knot Connemara Marble pendant has been inspired by our favorite meaning to be found which is eternity – the knots have no beginning and no end, a symbol of never ending love.

This piece is an excellent gift for someone with Irish heritage, a love of Celtic culture, or an appreciation for natural gemstones. It is suitable for both men and women, offering a unisex design with timeless appeal.
