Representing protection and provision our Viking Axe had a dual purpose. The axe itself was a combat weapon but also served a daily purpose in domestic or agricultural life.
Whilst the Vikings held the sword in the highest regard the axe was almost equally important and certainly the Celtic Axe in Ireland was held in very high esteem.
This stainless steel has been highly oxidised to focus on the design within the axe. Presented on a 24″ stainless steel chain the pendant will come within a hessian pouch.
