This statement ring is steeped in culture and history. The finely cut sterling silver rope design is inspired by the traditional knot work used by the fisherman off the Aran Islands here in Ireland.
The Aran Islands – a group of three – lie on the most westerly edge of Europe, across the mouth of Galway Bay. Here, the main enterprise of the people was always fishing and so the knot work used in both their fishing methods and clothing has become synonymous with the area.
The Aran design symbolizes the daily life of the islanders, their remote surroundings and their beliefs.

Silver “Aran” Connemara Marble ring, handcrafted in Ireland with hallmarked sterling silver.
Our marble has been dated to 900 million years meaning it’s formation occurred during the pre-cambrian time period. Each piece is totally unique, no two pieces are the same.
The ring is made with sterling silver 925 hallmarked in the Irish Assay Office located in Dublin Castle.
