Connemara Marble

Winter Scene Ireland

Rosary Bracelet

The first rosaries were made by the monks of the great settlements like Cashel and Glendalough. The rosary is a widely observed meditation and personal link with the creator and these beads continue that tradition. A single decade of the rosary, carry or wear them and tranquility will never be far away, carry them with you and a friend is always near.

Description

This very personal, single decade of the Rosary dates back to the Penal times when it was forbidden to practice the Catholic faith in Ireland. This suppression only served to increase the faith of the Irish people. Priests lived in hiding. Mass was celebrated on the open hillsides and the people found more and more ways of continuing their devotions without being detected. An Paidrin Bead is one result of their determined ingenuity.

The size of the bracelet allows one to wear it on the wrist or if you wished to place it in your pocket or bag. The rosary bracelet is often given as a talisman as a symbol of love and luck. The bracelet is also given as one embarks on a new chapter of their lives or face a new challenge.
