Description
The shamrock is one of the most iconic symbols associated with Ireland. Saint Patrick used the shamrock to explain the Holy Trinity to the Celts. The saint used the three leaves to explain the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit enshrined in one.
Our inspiration for the Trinity Knot we take from the Book of Kells which dates back to the 9th century. You can see the book on display in Trinity College Dublin. The Celtic patterns and drawings used in the book have stood the test of time and are still an inspiration to many artists all over the world.
Look how the intertwinning silver weaves in and out of itself with no beginning, middle or end. The symbolism of this is quite beautiful. Irish sterling silver gleams over a bed of genuine Connemara Marble. Ireland’s gemstone is found exclusively in the West of Ireland and is over 900 million years old. This pendant truly is a piece of Ireland.
