There are many fairy trees to be found along the roadside and in the fields of Ireland. Usually they are old hawthorn, oak or ash trees many of which can be hundreds of years old. They are a meeting point for the “wee folk” – the fairies who live at the base of the tree .
It is said that a fairy tree will bring good luck and great care must be taken not to damage or destroy one of these magical trees. We have our own fairy tree on our quarry in Lissoughter and locals have reported hearing music and singing on a calm summers evening!

This pendant is hand crafted with highly polished, natural Connemara Marble set into a sterling silver casing.
The front is cut into shapes depicting the famous Fairy Trees of Ireland where the Connemara marble peaks through the branches, while the back is completely open to reveal the full piece of marble.
Presented gift boxed and with an 24″ chain.
