In Ireland this style made a huge impact in the 10th and 11th century and in 1890 “The Tara Brooch” became one of the most sought after world renowned filigree jewelry pieces.
With this piece we have taken the smooth, green Connemara Marble and set the gem beneath an exquisite filigree design. The intention with the piece is to give this classic design a contemporary feel keeping this style of jewelry making alive while paying homage to the stunning craftsmanship of our ancestors.
